Few times in my life, has my breath been taken away by a man made structure.

Completed in AD 537 by Emperor Justinian I - who has my namesake -  Hagia Sophia stood for a thousand years as the largest cathedral in the world.

For a few moments I sat on the floor with my back against the cool walls just wondering how on Earth they put all this together 1500 years ago without modern technology.
