One of the most memorable experiences in Istanbul must be the local cuisine. I loved the thick, black Turkish tea that they serve everywhere, as well as the delectable Turkish delights. There are still many more of which I do not know the name, such as the cheese filled pretzels from street vendors and the fish sandwiches they sell in boats, etc.
